Our commitment
MD Acumen Ltd wants every learner to be able to use this platform. We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and test each release at phone width (375 px) and desktop width (1280 px) with a keyboard and a screen reader.
What you can do
- Navigate every page and complete every task with a keyboard alone; a “Skip to content” link is the first item on each page.
- Zoom to 200% without losing content or function; the layout reflows on small screens.
- Read headings, landmarks, form labels and the state of every control with a screen reader.
- Rely on more than colour: the Golden Triangle ratings always carry their letter and word (Red, Amber, Green) as well as a colour.
- Take the timed examination with the time remaining announced; tell us in advance if you need extra time and the course leader will arrange it.
Known limitations
- Lesson audio is a placeholder path; the spoken version of each lesson is not yet available.
- Certificates and transcripts are PDF files generated from standard fonts; they are tagged for reading order but not yet to PDF/UA.
- Some tables inside lessons scroll horizontally on narrow screens.
Tell us
If any part of this platform is hard to use, write to enquiry@mdacumen.com with the page address and what happened. We reply within five working days and fix what we can in the next release.
